Le Resto Du Village

We dropped in here because the place looked nice and we were really hungry. We arrived right at the end of their lunch time (2:00 I think) and the waitress said the kitchen was closed, but the chef might be willing to make us a...cold meat and cheese platter. We don’t know the area so we accepted. But then for the next full hour she brought out fresh hot food to all of the other tables. Granted they had ordered before us, but we got there right on the hour and the kitchen was clearly not closed. It didn’t make any sense to us. We would have loved one of those delicious-looking plates that kept passing our table. Anyway, the cheese platter was ok, but way too much. They brought out four very large portions but we have two very small kids. One of the meats the packaged ham was ok, but the other one was some type of hash which was not at all appealing. We would have been very happy if they had just let us order off the menu. Bottom line, we don’t know how the cooked food is but the cold food was not very nice and the service was certainly less than stellar.

at the advice of the waiter, we shared a great sweet salad as an appetizer: these sweet had grown to home. Very good. main dish fish with lemon butter, and again a lot sweet. healthy eating. no room to dessert. beautiful white wine (vignonier). terras is directly on the road side, which initially felt a bit strange. has not disturbed us too much, the traffic was very limited when we visited. a sufficient parking space available. only negative comments were not to be taken into account for face masks, which seems to be a common thing for restaurants that are a bit isolated and away from the city center.

a fantastic restaurant. a super atmosphere, a great service and eating. personal super sympa, helpful and knowledgeable. a beautiful environment as well as the shimmers. in the same week eaten twice there because it was so good.

great eating and team! we spent a very nice time. the choice of food is great with a very tasteful vegetarian option and very friendly atmosphere. also had the chance to have live music.

amazingly good food, also for vegetarians. try the lamb curry I am always suspicious to eat curries at non-Aser, but this was excellent!
