Le Restaurant de la Mer

We had the oysters to start and they were the best I've ever had. Things are off to a great start! Next we had the hake and cod, recommended by our waitress. Both dishes were perfectly presented and the fish was the freshest I've ever...tasted, could not fault it! Then there is the setting the whole restaurant has large windows so as to allow guests to enjoy the ocean and what a sunset we had! There is no English menu so crack out your translation apps, or ask one of the waitresses to help you, ours spoke perfect English and helped us out. Had a lovely evening, a fantastic meal, not to be missed if you're in the area and I'd even go out of my way to return someday.

Sea food Restaurant situated on sea front with uninterrupted views of the beach, sea and Sunset. Clever use of mirrored wall emphasises the view to its full extent. We selected the prix fixe evening meal at per person and were delighted with the volume,...quality and presentation of the sea food. Waitress service charming and Madame Patron very attentive. Frustratingly long time to wait for the bill which I asked for twice only downside on the evening. for which we considered fair for the high quality experience.

I have always passed by this restaurant as the outside is not very inviting and somehow does not portray the excellent food found within. The view is first class, looking right across the sea with Jersey in the background. We were greeted with a warm...welcome, and the service was attentive and efficient. We chose from the euro menu, all was beautifully presented, the fish was cooked to perfection. I cannot fault this restaurant all in all a very good experience.

We had today a great experience in this restaurant on the sea. The welcome is warm and helpful. All the dishes are cooked by the chef: we are reaching perfection. Warm oysters, foie gras, lobster, delicious sauces... the list is long and it was great....On top of that the wines are well selected. One word : thank you

We had lunch and thought the food was excellent. The seafood which included oysters, crab, whelk, shrimp and langoustine was nicely prepared and presented. Prices were reasonable. nice view of the sea.
