A lovely spot - quiet village location with views over the channel. Nice and clear on our visit so we were able to see the White Cliffs of Dover from our table. The menu is fairly small, which I like, but also heavily fish and seafood based, as it should be considering the location. I don't eat any seafood, but they happily prepared me a perfect, simple salad for a starter.Having read other reviews, I am happy to report that our food was served at about the right speed, and main courses were piping hot. WEe both ordered the Butcher's Choice - basically a piece of tender steak, which was cooked to perfection, but was a bit on the small side, with some frites and a side saladBoth had a dessert, and they were obviously home made and very, very tasty

We visited this lovely place last summer and had a simple but real good meal outside with a splendid view over Cap Gris Nez. But we were very disappointed last week. The atmosphere inside on a Sunday evening was cool. Our main dishes - chicken served with Maroilles-cheese and frites - were served within a few minutes and more cold than warm. A lot of frites , nearly no chicken and the cheese was hard to find. The start was promising - with the help of the ancient owner of Le Petit Bonheur -but now - without this help - it's not worth to stop for a dinner in this lovely location.

Le Presbytère in Tardinghen is on its way to become one of the 'must visits' on the Opal Coast. Both dishes and decoration are very tasteful and generous. The view on the Channel and the English coast is simply breathtaking.. We spent a lovely Sunday evening and are already looking forward to enjoying a fresh beer on the panoramic terrace this coming summer. Keep up the good work Michèle and team!

Really lovely welcoming hosts and nice fine french cuisine in a regional traditional style. The moules frites were great super creamy sauce nice fresh mussels and superb chips. The garden tables offer a fantastic view if the channel and the white cliffs of Dover on a sunny clear day. Really enjoyable spot for lunch.
