Le Portofino - Reservar uma mesa

Having enjoyed the very fresh and great quality of the seafood platter last time we decided a retour would be good.Again, freindly, quick and efficient service. We chose a dozen Nr.2 oysters - super fresh and well prepared, followed by the Cassoulet de Saint Jacques (very tasty and plenty of St Jacques) and the dry aged steak - very hard to find beef aged long enough in France and very, very delicious.This is a family run restaurant for families, it's does not pretend to be posh but it does do what it says on the box - Excellent quality ingrediants, fresh, well prepared and served quickly by freindly staff.

True to the name, le Portifino has seaside ambiance and quality ingredients used in all preparations. Lots of fish, oysters and crustacean dishes & we observed them to be quite popular - lots of fruit de mar plates. Also nice meat dishes and meats on skewer. Had a bit of a hard time communicating, all in French. I ordered the piccata alla Marsala and was very pleased. Husband ordered steak skewer, watch the quality of beef. If you don't want to be disappointed, order the more expensive cut. The creme brûlée was wonderful. The prices very reasonable.

great place, spacious parking and well preserved garden. the restaurant is quite new looking, but traditional good atmosphere. eating was very good. the personal does not speak English, but no problem that commands to lead.

An amazing experience! Family run, cosy restaurant, serving fresh seafood and "cochon de lait". Delicious. Very big portions! Definitely worth it.
