Le Lievre et l'Escargot

I was happy to discover this little restaurant the other day, because I am a big fan of the cheesecakes. However, I've been to many different places in France and they try to make cheesecake but they just not seem to get the recipe, likewise for their carrotcake.Anyway, when you love all things cosy,vintage and local, fresh products you should really go to this place during the day. They have a warm inviting interior, a little terras in the front, homemade marmelade, fresh juices, your coffee served in a very cute way on a little wooden platter... everything about this place screams out "just like home". It's an honest place, to eat honest food for honest prices.

From crossing to Valencia we were looking for a friendly restaurant with vegetarian choices, we were not disappointed! The Mr. who holds this restaurant is only at the service as in the kitchen and yet, the dishes come to a point and his cucumbers with attention. The prices are almost surprising as they are reasonable compared to the quality of the dishes, generous and tasty. The little card doesn't lie, everything is done home Go to the eyes closed, the restaurant is intimistic and the warm cuisine to wish!

Having driven for 12 hours all we wanted was some good french food and a glass of wine. Despite a huge thunderstorm we achieved our goal. The salad choice was wonderful with a lovely dressing and the home make cakes and fruit salad for dessert equally delicious. Sounds too simple - not if you want good quality product at a reasonable price. The service couldn't have been friendlier and left with very happy memories of this wonderful small restaurant.

Formula of starter + main dish + dessert assortment for 16 euros!!!Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, with creative dressings and acompaignements.I've eaten carrot + cumin muffin as starter, "Pintade" as main dish, and 3 different desserts presented as one: brownie, apple "compote" and a delicious and light pannacote with lemon. 100% recommended

Small and good restaurant. Lunch was not inexpensive but worth it. We came in before the rain started pouring, and it filled up, finally having to turn people away.
