As frequent eaters of Indian (and near-relative) food, but not previously in France, it was pleasing to find that the food here was very nice - the cheese naan in particular had real and noticeable cheese in it - and the lamb was tender and pleasant.The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and wasn't over-busy. Staff were friendly and competent. Would definitely eat here again if I was in the area. Not the cheapest restaurant ever, but it felt like reasonable value.

We where in Etampes just for Dinner and where looking for nice place to eat in.After searching for a while we decided to try this restaurant. We both know Indian food before and it was just as we wanted it to be :-) the food was great but not as spicy as it supposed to be (french people don't like spicy food he said.) There was no English menu but our host was happy to try and explain as much as he could.RECOMENDED!

Le Kasmir offers an authentic and not expensive aray of Indian/Pakistani dishes in a medieval French environment! The contrast is amusing. I spent years looking for a good Indian restaurant in and around Paris, and Le Kashmir is one of the better ones.

This was a really welcome find after a long day's cycle ride towards Paris.
