The note is the fish shop in front of the small restaurant. You can eat meat here, but the fish is the star. A fine plate of fruit de mer followed by a pertectly poached chunk of cod, so fresh it could have jumped from the sea to the plate, served simply with garlicky maische, made an unforgettable meal, one of the best we in France during a two-week trip. The patron offers good advice on wine. We spent about 45 euros per head and it was good value. It helps when you speak French.
