Le Gindreau - Reservar uma mesa

To be honest, when going to a two star restaurant the expectations are very high and sometimes this can actually partly ruin the experience. Not so here, from the first starters and onwards the food was simply awesome. I can really recommend it to food lovers; we had their lunch menu which was very worthwhile. Service and location was as good as expected almost throughout, it took a strangely long time to get coffee and the bill, something I've often notices in nicer restaurants that they really should improve - you want to leave with a feeling of "this was great" not "what is taking so long?".Be aware that it is located in the middle of nowhere so it's quite a drive from almost wherever you stay - which it's worth!

We visited this 2 michelin star restaurant whilst staying in nearby Pagel. It certainly is well worth a visit. We had the taster menu with the fois gras course being a particular highlight. The quality was as high as one might expect. The service was good yet unfussy with staff prepared to accept our poor attempts at french. The venue is in a quaint hamlet typical of the region and eating outside on a balmy evening shaded by chestnut trees and overlooking a wooded valley whilst the moon was rising is all that one could ask for ambience. This restaurant is well wrth visiting you are staying in the Lot area.

Returned to Le Gindreau for the first time after they had received their 2 stars. Had a great meal with my family, and must add that they really have stepped up their game. Even the Prices have not increased. A very good deal for the quality and inventive food. Had some issues with the Truffle soufflé, we were offer a free dessert before they finally succeeded making the soufflé. An excellent lunch on the Terrance that we definitely will repeat next year. Highly recommend that you reserve a table here when in the Lot.

From the aperitif on the terrace to the coffee afterwards everything was exceptional. Our evening was everything we expected and more. The owner was delightful, the staff completely professional and friendly. We had a truly memorable evening and the food and wine truly superb.

We visited as friends celebrating a wedding anniversary. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A superb meal was served which we will all remember for ever. I will return when I can. Merci beaucou x Helen
