Le Fournil - Reservar uma mesa

We visited Agincourt on a Sunday morning and had used the red Michelin guide beforehand to find somewhere to eat in the vicinity and found Le Fournil. Luckily we had booked a table in advance as it was completely full of local families and groups enjoying a splendid Sunday lunch.We had a delicious three course lunch which also came with a couple of amuse bouche and petits fours and chocolates afterwards. It was all beautifully presented and very tasty and the main courses we chose of lamb chops and fillet steak were generous portions and perfectly cooked. The cooking was all at a much higher level than the roadside location and outside of the restaurant might suggest.The service was a little slow however but that was no doubt because they were at full capacity that day and the food was well worth the wait and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and cheerful.I would certainly recommend this restaurant and would go back should I ever be in that area again.

a good table that is with a beautiful wine map.Just a small incident (the deserts were not the ones ordered. back in the kitchen) and two small constructive comments: do not empty the bottom of the bottle of wine to the customer (especially when it did not because there was a deposit ;) ) and better manage the time between the dishes (entrance quickly served and then long wait for the main dish)Nevertheless, good time spent - I recommend !

Very good surprise! the best vegetables I've ever eaten in a restaurant, delicious little soups to wait for the entrance, very welcoming staff. really is worth the move a little far to eat :)

A few miles north of Fruges we came across Le Fournil at lunchtime. A good sensibly selective menu gave us a tempting set of options. We chose from the menu of the day and were delighted.
