We went to Le Ficky because it's the nearest cafe/bar/restaurant to the campsite [Camping Municipal de Pissevaches]. We thought we'd have a drink and consider eating there. It seems to be run by two men. One is pleasant and served us drinks quickly once he noticed us. When we arrived there were only a few tables that were occupied, we went to sit at a table near the middle and under cover. However, the other man started waving his arms around and saying all the tables were booked, although there weren't any reserved signs on them. We were directed to a small round table on the edge with a lot of finger pointing from the man with the beard. This didn't just happen to us, everyone else who arrived was directed to an outside table with the same finger pointing by the same man. He was setting up tables for dinner, but didn't seem to have allowed enough time to do this, because he looked very stressed. We watched one family who hadn't reserved left waiting for about 5 minutes while he wiped tables and bustled around. Eventually, he produced a new folding table for them and they were able to sit down. The moules frites seemed popular with the couple of tables that were eating and the ice creams looked interesting, but we decided to walk another 5 minutes or so further towards the middle of St Pierre, where we found a group of half a dozen restaurants with a good choice of menus.
