"Went on very busy night (Arras tower firework night), had a little wait for our table, but was worth it for the delicious meal. Our table was in the basement which is like a brickwork cavern, a fab atmosphere."

I had cod with chorizo-sauce and vegetables in this restaurant. The cooked vegetables were by far the best part of the dish. The cod wasn't flavoured at all and tasted quite bland. The sauce contained leeks and... just some ordinary ham?! What I found in this dish definitely wasn't chorizo, didn't taste like chorizo at all. Very disappointing and quite expensive for what it's worth. As for the ambiance, we were seated in the cave, which gets quite noisy especially when seated next to families with kids. Definitely a restaurant to avoid!

We found this place in one of the squares,we went down stairs in to a lovely basement. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ordered Mussels which were lovely. And we're given tuna and bread for starters free of charge which was lovely.we enjoyed it so much we booked and went back the following night. The meal was not expensive,we would recommend it and would go back again if in this town.

In this restaurant they serve very good meat (actually we wanted to have the famous Arras's andouillette but they had served all of the the night before : 90 of them !). The meat was tasty and well cooked and served with a delicious gratin dauphinois, the place very nice. The price quite reasonable, especially if take the lunch menu. A very satisfactory experience.

Sat outside on a warm September evening. Reasonably crowded, but efficient and friendly service. Had the modules fitted, but unusually cooked with chorizo and this combination worked well. Good traditional food in a traditional setting and none the worse for that. Good value too.
