Le Colibri - Reservar uma mesa

We 've been here three times now for the menu du jour . The first time was with our daughter over two years ago and we all had a superb lunch. The service was excellent without being in your face all the time. The second time, in mid 2016, was a bit disappointing but then we had arrived at the very tail end of lunch and it wasn 't fully staffed. The third time, last October, they were back on form, just like the first time. The food on the two best occasions was lovely and well-presented and the fact that they were back on top form on the last occasion puts me in mind to overlook the disappointing second visit.

A small but very good menu. Sat outside in the sun and had a plat du jour which was lieu with a ratatouille topping with vegetables and rice. Tarte du Limonde for dessert washed down with a chilled Cotes du Gascogne. All for €30 for two people. Very enjoyable. All the staff were pleasant.

We had wanted lunch but it was really busy bustling with people sitting outside. When we walked past after lunchtime it had quietened down so we stop for coffees. Nice coffee, friendly staff and clean toilet facilities.

Beautifully situated. On a sunny day it's a good place to drink a coffee but avoid eating there. Three stars only for the location. The food was frozen or packed and microwave heated.

This is a lovely little restaurant, the staff are friendly and spoke some English. Lovely sitting under the colourful umbrella. Well worth a visit.
