We were walking along the Port and found this restaurant which by the look of the menu we were going to be in for a treat. We were told by the waiter we were not allowed to sit at a table for as there...was only the two of us! We had a fair bit of shopping with us so we thought we could use the extra space. We were seated at a tiny, lopsided table with our shopping scattered around us which the waiter and the clientele tripped over. The hamburger I ordered came out RAW and I asked for another one which I was told I could only have this one and it will need to be recooked. I said not to worry about it and take it off the bill. My partner had the mussels which were like rubber and half the shells were empty. Went to pay for the bill and the hamburger was still being charged for. I was told by the owner it was my FAULT because I had asked for RAW meat in my hamburger. When I protested I was told it is OKAY to eat raw meat because I am in France. I said I did not ask for Tartar and that it should be removed from the bill. He then went on to explain it was my fault because I refused to send it back to the kitchen to be recooked and reconstructed. In the end I gave up and paid. To add insult to injury I was given the wrong change! WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!

Poor and rude service. Not a tourist friendly place. When we arrived we were of tables. Placed our order of Caprese Salads. After we ordered the place filled up. Not only was everyone served before us but they were actually finished with...their food and paying. When I asked about our salads I was given an attitude. When I asked for a drink I got a response “no English” and she turned her back and walked away. minutes for tomato mozzarella salads is a bit much to wait on however I was not rude when asking about our food. She spoke enough English to take the food order...pretty sure she understood I wanted water. In any case It doesn’t take much to be kind. Maybe she should serve food at the local prison where her personality would surely fit in.

It started well, good atmosphere, great for people watching. The Marmite de Pecheur was satisfactory, but the grilled fish came with rice which was burnt and dried out and probably reused. We complained and asked for freshly cooked rice, the waiter's response was this...is normal, all the rice is like this, and suggested I use olive oil to make it taste better. What planet is this guy on? Does he think all tourists are stupid? On this basis I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, tasty main courses, mussels with tomato sauce is perfect as starter to share. Food and Cote du Rhone red wine is good. For the dessert I can not be that positive unfortunately profiterol and creme brulee was not good.
