Le Belvedere - Reservar uma mesa

For a start – please do make a reservation for a table on the edge, overlooking one of the best views in the Dordogne region.The menu will suit all tastes and is fairly priced for a top tourist area.Service was friendly and prompt. There is a fixed price menu but my wife and I chose from the a la carte menu, to share a Foie Gras starter, followed by 2 main courses - a Perigordine salad and a wonderful dish of warm duck breast strips with vegetables. Together with coffees and 2 x half litre carafes of local wine, the bill came to 68 euros plus tip.

What really makes this place is the extraordinary views, the vista is breathtaking. It rained whilst we were there and the staff were very quick to cover everyone but the speed that the weather changed was incredible!That aside, what a lovely meal with great service. I was a truly memorable evening that we will take home with us!

Specular views from the outside terrace overlooking the valley. The food was so-so. Traditional, local menu - but not amazing. The waiter spoke English but was brisk and seemed eager to turn the table. 3 course Plat du Jour for 23 €. Recommend for a drink on terrace, but not necessarily the food.

Turned up with no reservation because of the view can park right outside free after 7pm. Salads excellent value. Chicken also good. Speak excellent English but also do not mind you trying French.

Very attractive restaurant mainly due to the huge view over the valley. Domme, where ever you are and if the weather is with you, the view is with you.
