Le Basilic Rouge

Took early evening short walk from Holiday Inn hotel and stumbled across this Italian restaurant / bar.Ordered pizza's which were very tasty.Service was attentive but waiter needed you to be able to converse in French which was ok..!Deserts were simple but fantastic taste.Would recommend anyone to try especially as so convenient for hotel !

I was there for dinner. the waiter was friendly. but that is really all. food( osso bucco) was a big disappointment. it was greasy. and bland. the glass Italian wine was not even worth mentioning. I left without coffee and desert. not a place I will return there are better restaurants in bougival.

A really good Italian menu, with something for everybody. We ate here twice on holiday and both time were impressed by the quality of the food and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Very good.

What a pleasurable dinner, good prices, good food and service, this was an excellent restaurant near our hotel.__The frois gras was tasty and the ravioli

Such cute decor~ I adore this place!__We stayed at the Hotel Cervantes which was literally few buildings down from the restaurant.
