L'azud - Reservar uma mesa

We were recommended Restaurante Alma by our landlady for traditional Valencia Paella. So despite the fact that it wasn't super close to our apartment, we made the effort to go. It's an unassuming restaurant with a bit of a cafe feel to it. It seemed to be good value though, and full of locals at lunch time. We ordered several Paella's to share amongst a group of four, including a Paella made of spaghetti like pasta instead of rice. I think this is quite a unique Valencian take on Paella. It was also relatively dry, which I think is another Valencian Paella take, baking it until most of the moisture is evaperated. All in all, the dry spaghetti Paella was not to my taste (although I accept it's traditional in Valencia) and there wasn't anything else outstanding about the restaurant, although the service was fine.

We were satisfied with the food as well as with staff.Nice serving with delicious foods. We were about to buy their home made special tomato jam but they are not re-selling it however they were so nice and we got a little sample for take away.

very well the truthI called an hour in advance and juan has told us that there was no problem, table for 2 and baby cart.

Every time we go to Valencia we never miss to go to l'Azud. The service is great, the food of high quality.

super good food and good prices. We ate delicious paella with duck and mishrooms. Good service as well.
