L'auberge Provencale

we were 2 nights in the l’auberge Provencale in room 5, a really nice room over the terrace and the city with magnificent views. (I think this is one of the newly renovated rooms and not all rooms are the same. it was very...warm when we visited and the air conditioning was not very effective. but it helped remove the plastic mattress cover. we ate both nights in the restaurant and it was very good. sospel is a fairly small quiet city and about 5 minutes walk down hill, a little longer to return over the very old paved steps. at the time of our visit the hotel was a 2 stars, but I would definitely have our room well above this.
