L'auberge le Petit Robinson

On a family holiday in the little village of Perville, we wanted to find a local restaurant for Sunday lunch. Le Petit Robinson was absolutely spot on. Wonderful service - despite the waitress being ill - and a nice family run atmosphere. She made us feel very welcome. We were a group of 9 and there was only one chef, but each meal was cooked to perfection and the food was very fresh. The goats cheese starter, the prawns (gambas) and duck main courses were particular highlights. Approx £35 a head which we thought was excellent value for money, for three courses with wine included. All in all, a very enjoyable meal with friendly service in a lovely family run restaurant. Well worth a visit!

We popped in for lunch on a very hot day and sat on a charming terasse with a cooling breeze blowing through. We selected from the lunchtime formule which was excellent value. We both had a pate starter and a plat which was excellent - chicken breast cooked in a cream sauce. It was all good quality and represented good value for money - under thirty euros including a glass of wine.. The service was friendly and efficient and we can't wait to come for dinner.

This is another little restaurant that we have visited on several occasions over the years. It is family-run, and provides an excellent meal at a very good price There is a choice of menus, with all being good value for money. One can eat either indoors or outside, with the latter being situated in a beautiful garden away from the traffic. It is slightly out of town and so needs a car to reach it, but it faces onto the main road so is not difficult to find.

We were simply passing by at lunchtime and took a chance. The quality of the ingredients, and the flavours were excellent. I had salmon and my husband had chicken supreme, both served with fabulous parmentier potatoes. The portions are not generous, but the chef knows how to cook, and the service very good.

good basic food in friendly local restaurant. sadly not many eating in the evening but we will call again
