I went here when I stayed in France with my aunt and Uncle, it was fab, L'auberge is a farm where the owners have a restaurant and are only allowed to sell/cook 90% of what they produce, as this was a duck farm , the whole menu was duck based, they had some other birds that they said would be killed at the end of the week, so they would be on the menu then. They did have steak on the menu too, and chicken. We had an aperitif, sangria which was very much like sherry, then soup, salad, main course- I've never had duck before but it was absolutely delicious, my mum and I had the same, duck confit, it was beautiful, just fell apart, then we had cheese a dessert, coffee and 1/2 a carafe of wine per person all for 22euros. It is very French, you need to be able to speak the lingo fluently really to read the menu and correspond with the hosts. It is a bit off the beaten track, but well worth a visit if you are in Lougratte. You do need to book as it gets very busy, and is only open in the summer. I cannot recommend this little restaurant highly enough, it was absolutely delicious.
