Here it is: It is in the small village GONFREVILLE-CAILLOT in the Norman countryside 20 minutes from ÉTRETAT and FECAMP which is THE AUBERGE DE LA MOTTE. Typically Norman style on a land particularly well landscaped and maintained, it has a beautiful room with its elegant decoration, spacious tables, wide space between them, makes the serene atmosphere and their decorations do not want those of the starred restaurants. How good restaurants lose their charm with a closet of tables too tight Staff reception is kind, pleasant and professional. We chose the white card menu to let us guide by the master of the place and it is a good exercise to see what it is capable of. The kitchen is inventive, original, surprising and well on excellent. In addition to having a beautiful card, the rates are the most honest. Was that a good night? Why not? Because when we left when we complimented the friendly waitress, expressing our desire to come back quickly, with a sad smile, she said Possible that we are going one day, but not here, we will certainly close Sunday, not enough customers... How can a MAGNIFIQUE place or so much quality attention and customer respect disappear after six years of existence? I can't imagine what bitterness can feel, the magician of the flavors of this place... The possible explanation is that this hostel is almost hidden, no gastronomic restaurant sign to X km to come here you need to know... Or then people prefer to enter the more real tourist traps. Here is a sad gastronomic summary! We wish this creator that he keeps morality, he has a real talent and it would be dramatic that he is extinguished. After a difficult start, our table reservation was not taken into account.We did not regret to insist on staying at food. Good presentation of the dishes, even in the explanations, refined and original dishes highlighted with the local products all this in a pleasant setting. Good value for money. In addition, champagne was offered to us following our inconvenience of the early evening.

Very good kitchen with beautiful fresh products. The setting is beautiful as well as the hostel itself. The chef is really very gifted and the card changes relatively regularly. I advise you to try at least once this restaurant that will surprise you. Between us, it's a little expensive, but it's worth the price.
