Las Esperillas - Reservar uma mesa

In Summer, the recently revamped terrace is full of locals and tourists. A popular local bar and restaurant capably run by Ramon the owner. Indoors, it can get a little lively if the football is on. We have eaten here several times, most recently last week. Both meat and fish dishes are plentiful and fresh. As most places in the area, chips are standard but rice and vegetables are available too. Vegetarians are well catered for in an area not known for it.

Lovely place in a lovely village. Ramon, who handles things so well, has a great sense of humour. The food is always tasty. The best meal we had was a snap decision to go there for lunch. I had whisky langoustines and my wife had the spinach crepes. Excellent, no other words will suffice for us both. Try it...

Stayed in Canillas de Albaida for 4 days and this was our favourite bar. Good Tapas which is reasonably priced as is the rest of the menu. The owner made us feel welcome and will definitely use again if we’re in the area.

Veggies can struggle in small places like Canillas. We found Las Esperillas a fair choice. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and we had a good veggie meal with nice house wine for under 30 euros for 2: Recommended.

Esperillas is a great traditional bar enjoyed by both locals and visitors, the food is good and reasonably priced are the drinks. It is always friendly and also does a good breakfast roll.
