L'Archange - Crepe Au Metre

We came upon this while driving around MSM and were hungry. We seated ourselves but waitstaff took our order. They don't speak English but we did OK. My omelette, while not inexpensive, was large and good. My wife had a galette which was OK, not as flavorful. We felt this was an OK place and certainly way better than our experience on MSM itself. This is not a fancy sit-down restaurant, but not really fast food, more like a hybrid. Just outside the parking lot by the side of the road is a nice view of MSM, there were cows in the fields when we were there, which made for a nice photo.

Having spent the morning visiting the mount we wanted to treat ourselves to a last French meal before returning to the UK. The place looked attractive. It was a hot day we sat down as there was no one to seat us. It took ages for the waiters to come and take any order. The service was extremely slow and the food mediocre and expensive. In fact this was one of the most expensive meals we had in France and i Just had sausage and chips. We didn't have coffee as the service was so slow we didn't have time.

It might be the worst meal we had in europe! It was edible - but the flies, and poor service and atmosphere just was overall poor. They do have rabbits and horses and goats in the adjacent pastures which made my daughter happy!

Worst meal in France so far! Is cheap but still not worth the money. Suggest avoiding this joint Staff are pleasant and did try hard, but unable to make up for the place!

Great location with great view. Food not great however. Called in as we were passing by and none of us liked the food.
