Visited for my birthday was greeted at the door by a waitress who made you feel welcome from the start ,we sat at the back of the restaurant as it was a bit quieter there. Waiter was attentive very helpful with dishes and recommended dishes too,was served our drinks straightaway and wasn't kept waiting. My partner had sardines for starters which we're so tasty ,I had ciabatta with the melted butter and samphire very delicious, for mains we had the duck and the venison served with the parmasan chips was the best meal out in a long while. Wine was great too. Would highly recommend this restaurant as a great all rounder. Compliments to the chef . Loved the pictures on the wall that the chef painted. So the website is outstanding !!! And this creates a massive expectation level .. Let me tell you they actually deliver !!! The food is outstanding I had the the Tiger king prawns and Pork ribeye The menu changes daily so what you see on the website is just a snapshot. The staff are both knowledgeable and engaging. You probably want a table in the front of the restaurant . There is no bar so pre drinks I would recommend The Royal or The Marine Hotel both are a very short walk away . Wow wow wow! We'd heard how good this place was, and we weren't disappointed. From start to finish, the food served was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone who fancies something just a little different, but that doesn't cost the earth. Well done to everyone from the chefs to the waiting staff, it was superb!!
