L'amandine - Reservar uma mesa

We enjoyed our morning coffee visits to L'amandine immensely. Letitia was extremely attentive, efficient and had a happy welcome for us each morning whilst also remembering our order preferences. She is certainly a great asset to the establishment. The outdoor seating area in the garden is lovely with cover for shade if required. There was a great range of breads and cakes in the bakery, a lovely spot all round and I would certainly recommend a visit.

Both main food and desserts were really great here, but it 's let down by the service which is incredibly slow. Very difficult to get Waitress 's attention, she did all she could to avoid eye contact! If you come here, be patient and not in a hurry to get anywhere afterwards. Shame that we also noticed lots of 'rolling of the eyes ' and looks of annoyance from the waitress after customers would ask for things.

We have been visiting L'amandine regularly for many summers, it is always a pleasant place to eat, we have used it for breakfast lunch and evening meals, the food has always been excellent, the Bolognaise pizza is amazing. Reading some reports on Trip advisor I see some comments about poor or rude service, we speak very little French but have always found the staff to be very helpful and charming.

Quick service, new waitress very pleasant, good dishes, soft cider a little raw formwork, delicious ice. I take off a star for plastic straws and drinks that have been added to our bill without doing on purpose, but no one apologized. Please, stop the plastic straws systematically and at best don't give them. We must preserve our oceans. We'll be back, but no straw.

Okay, they serve after 1:30, unfortunately it's not everyone's case. Go to their salads are very good and hearty cakes. Nice smiling staff and don't stop for a minute. Thank you and bravo
