La Villetta - Reservar uma mesa

We visited La Villetta on the basis of its high ratings, and we weren't disappointed. Food was good quality; there's not much in the way of starters unless you fancy a salad (we didn't...) but we thoroughly enjoyed our main courses. We both picked pizzas and these were great: lovely crisp bases, plenty of toppings and came in very good time (under 10 mins). The only let-down really was the dessert. We both had the profiteroles, but unfortunately they were burnt. Badly burnt, in fact, and the chef should have thrown that batch away and started again. No amount of vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce can hide profiteroles so burnt that the tops are charred black! Still, in spite of this, we enjoyed our visit and would happily go again. The welcome from the staff was nice and there was a pleasant atmosphere. Be sure to turn up inside business hours though- someone arrived just two minutes after last orders at 9.30pm and was promptly turned away!

we visited la villetta on the basis of his high ratings, and we were not disappointed. eating was good, there is not much in the kind of appetizers, unless they have an salad (we do not. but we enjoyed our main courses very much. we have both plucked pizzas and that were great: nice crunchy bases, many toppings and came in very good time (under mins). the only farewell was really dessert. we both had the profiterole, but unfortunately they were burned. in the did badly burned, and the chef would have thrown this approach away and restarted. no amount of vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce can hide profiterole so that the tops are black! Nevertheless we enjoyed our visit and would fortunately go back. the greeting of the staff was beautiful and there was a pleasant atmosphere. make sure to turn within business hours, but someone arrived only two minutes after the last orders and was immediately shut down!

This Italian restaurant is down a side street off the main square. It's nothing to look at from the outside but inside is another story. There is an extensive menu include lots of pizzas. They offer very good value for money either to eat in or takeaway. Home cooked and served by the friendly staff.

I agree with all the positive comments but one comment is missing. The maitre de is a dish! Billy poured a jug of water over my head and that received a humous remark from her.
