La Trastienda - Reservar uma mesa

I have visited this restaurant many, many times for years. However due to Covid it had been a long time since my last visit. I was really looking forward to tasty food. However sadly it was awful. The crujiente de bacalao was a mushy mess I spat it out. The alcachofas were hard and chewy, horrible taste, inedible. The other dishes we ordered were also not good. The waiter obviously saw that we had eaten very little of any of it and I told him we were very disappointed. However we did not receive any comment. This was one of my favourite places to eat in Chiclana. What happened? Such a shame.

Pese a la calidad del producto y a las ganas que le ponen, tienen un problema con la cocina, y es que o les faltan cocineros, o la cocina es pequeña porque las esperas entre paltos son son admisibles. Tienen que corregir ese problema para garantizar la continuidad, porque el resto de elementos como calidad, y cantidad están bien

This restaurant has to be visited. The food is fantastic, 6 of us went and everything was fabulous. From the bogavante salad to the suckling pig this place is special. Service cannot be faulted. If you don't visit, your loss!!

Has a nice terrace in a plaza. Food was quite good with a modern touch. And not too expensive. Can get very busy. Best to go when they open.

Excellent modern tapas, very friendly staff and a good choice of wine. We all enjoyed every dish (11of us . Definitely a place to recommend.
