La Tetrade Cote Lac

The view on the lac is nice. And that’s the reason you might want to have dinner here. Together with the fact that you are feeling really hungry and you have a craving for huge desserts full of sugar and you have to feed a big family. If not the case, just save the time... The amuse bouche have no taste. We have the suggestion di chef : lotte with chorizo and purée de faves. Large chops of chorizo appeared to have landed on the poor lotte. No blend among the various tastes. The soupe de poisson is a huge bowl of watery texture with little flavor. The chipirons on the contrary just taste of garlic. The waitress was extremely efficient and professional. They are nice with dogs and welcome them.

The Tetrade has a great reputation for its fish and seafood dishes as well as traditional French specialties from the southwest like foie gras and magret de canard. This one of the two Tetrade restaurants is on the lake in Hossegor, which is a great place to have a walk to work up an appetite or help digest a big meal!

Old school service but a very decent kitchen. We had several fresh fish and shrimps, accompanied by a self chosen Sancerre, which was ok. The food is of excellent quality so we would certainly recommend this place.

I visit the place almost every year since it opened and the feeling is that it is getting better every time ! Your choice for seafood in the area.

Lovely to eat on the upstairs outside terrace overlooking the lake. But very disappointed in quality of dishes and very overpriced
