La Terrasse Colbert

On the balcony in the Louvre. A great place to stop and recharge while exploring the Louvre. With the location I expected it to be monumentally expensive so was pleasantly surprised when it was just pretty standard prices. (It does get really busy and they close the entry for a while to manage the queue) A very small selection of rolls and salads. But all you need on this break. You can have a wine/water and a quick bite before getting back to sighseeing. Standard little coffee sho. A welcome relief to the feet!

After several hours of looking at paintings and other Louvre works of art, this was a much needed rest for both the eyes and brain... The location was perfect and offered great views of both the Louvre courtyard and IM Pei's Pyramid museum entrance. Don't expect anything else besides costly water, ice cream and 3 Euro espresso shots. There is a restaurant next door, but we wanted the outdoor terrace experience.

In hindsight we should have just left Le Louvre and eaten in one of the cafes on the side streets. Much better and much cheaper food. As it was, a long line, an ok sandwich and we got to eat standing up. It was ok but we wouldn't do it again.

samedi 2 juillet 2016 : à table à 19h15, après une longue attente nous avons pu boire notre bouteille de rosé et sommes à 22h00 sans avoir rien mangé !!!!! génial non ????alors messieurs dames changez de métier !!!

Uma boa opção. Tem muita coisa gostosa por aqui! Com preços acessíveis comparado aos demais na cidade.
