La Taverna - Reservar uma mesa

Lüneburg is a very tough place for foodies especially for those with allergies and/or food intolerances. While this place falls under the flag of generic tourist restaurant with a view, it importantly does offer gluten free pizzas and pastas. While nothing special, these are edible...and indeed the pizzas are cooked in a dish to avoid cross contamination on the bottom of the pizza oven. There is also an entire vegan page on the menu, although those in my party would argue some items--like the vegan lasagna were distinctly not good To have a travellers choice award, only speaks to the overall quality of restaurants in Lüneburg. TripAdvisor has often delivered miracles in hidden corners of the world, but on occasion it also reflects local taste. Be aware that the kitchen opens quite early, but there are no breakfast options. At it is serving a lunch menu. Overall, the food was very ordinary for Italian cuisine and really nothing special. The gluten free pizzas were edible. The normal pizzas were very ordinary. But it is a great place to sit and the service was prompt.

From their amazing vegan spaghetti carbonara to their delicious vegan tiramisu, La Taverna offers its patrons the opportunity to enjoy quality Italian food without harming a single animal. Their cozy atmosphere, very reasonably priced lunch menu, and excellent service make La Taverna my go-to restaurant...in Lüneburg!

We were lucky enough to get at table outside in the street as it was a very warm night when we went there. The waiter was very busy, but very welcoming. We had two pizzas and they were delicious. We had a lovely night here...and would be back if in Luneburg again.

Lot to choose if you want vegan food and dessert. I ate the lasagna and pannacotta. Both very tasteful. My family where very satisfied with their choices of ordinary Italian pizzas.

After waiting in vain at another pizza place we chose La Taverna. It's located in a very pretty part of town and the pizzas are good. Fast service too, so thumbs up!
