La Table Du Sherpa

The hotel stands towards the top of Val Thorens and has great views from the terrace down the valley and of the mountains around. The staff are extremely helpful and are always around to help. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is a an extensive buffet and always a good start for your days skiing Evening meals were varied and plentiful with good choices. By the end of our week we were missing some courses due to volume! With a short walk up to the top of the road behind the hotel you can access the Val Thorens lifts directly and you can also then access all the lifts down the valley to Les Menuires. A great start to the day without walking! Just below the hotel are some very lively bars and restaurants for après ski or evening entertainment The main centre is about a 5-10 min walk if you want more choice Will certainly go back

Having stayed at Tango four times previously we felt it was getting a little worn so stayed next door at Le Sherpa this trip. It's a smaller hotel so has a more personal feel. All the staff were very friendly and caring. The rooms are traditional, a little small but we expected this in VT. The food was superb and the menu varied greatly each evening with alternatives being offered if needed. The bar was warm and cosy with a quiet but good atmosphere. The manager checked in regularly with us throughout the stay. Le Sherpa is in an excellent location for the VT resort. Ski in with a little walk up hill for ski out.

Awesome welcome and hostage in this hostel with two of my friends last week! Food and accomodationd were perfect.. we had a great time and we advise everyone who is willing to go to Val Thorens to settle there during their trip or even for a lunch or dinner : god bless this tremendous place. Thanks again to our hosts

Very good meal. We had the Table d'Hote which was excellent value, includes cheese board and a table of desserts, so can return for more! Manager and his family are very welcoming and staff professional. Would highly recommend.

Have the 5 course evening meals they are wonderful. The staff are so helpful and polite even with our appalling French.
