La Table de Marie-Ange

I don't usually take time to write reviews but today's family lunch with my husband and my 2 boys (6 and 8y) was so amazing that I had to share. For a little treat in an amazing setting, this place ticks all the boxes. Basically everything was spot on: the location, the service, the menu and the pricing. We took the €64 4-course set menu which, given the quality of the food, was a bargain. The €16 3-course kids menu was also really good value (in particular by comparison to an overpriced Italian restaurant in Annecy-Le-Vieux which charged us £17 for a double kids plate of spaghetti bolognaise). Melt-in-the-mouth fillet steak for my husband, perfectly baked Fera (the local fish) for the kids and an amazing rissole with fresh truffles as my starter were the highlights but it would be unfair to ignore the other dishes! All this in a very casual and relaxed atmosphere, yet with a very professional service and a view to die for. We have to come back this winter!

Had a Family dinner,in this very cozy,open fire and bar,wooden chalet style dining room.The sevice is perfect,not opressant,but very attentive and friendly staff.We had a full set menu,and all dishes were perfectly copoked and delicious.We had a grest evening in a warm,cozy,friendly atmosphere.The owners deserve all the positive reviews,and we will certainly go back.We were there at night,and could not see the beautifull surraundings,so went back the next day during daytime,the views are amazingly beautifull,esoecially the oine trees under the snow....

Wonderfully comfortable, amazing views of mountains,(especially in the Winter), superb food and a great team who really enjoy giving excellent service. There are several cosy seating areas inside in which to enjoy and aperitive, or coffee. Or the terrace with the mountains close by if not too cold. The menu is varied as is the wine list, and there is a child's menu. We had an amusee buche with our aperitive and another superb one before our starters.All our meal was served with panache and each course was delectable.

pleasure of eyes and taste buds: a reception for every taboo, a divinely decorated house in the style of the mountain, a superb view of the Manigod mountains, delicate and delicious dishes: what more?

Breath taking views over Croix Fry slopes, great service and the best food in the area, try there lunch menu of the day for 20 euros. Very clean and relaxing.
