La Sassa - Reservar uma mesa

Perfect setting for our last meal in Corsica with stunning views of the coastline and sunsets. Excellant service from very knowledgeable staff, who were happy to make recommendations of both food and wine to compliment the meal. I have a nut allergy which often causes problems in some restuarants, but not here, the chef was very reassuring.The food is outstanding, we shared the selection of Corsican cured meat to start, followed by the fish of the day for my husband, whilst I had the homemade cannelloni stuffed with Corsican goats cheese and Truffle, all of which were delicious and very well presented. We also indulged in desert, Panna Cote and the Grande Choux bun which were lush. We were recommended to try the white wine produced in Patrimono which complimented the meal very well. We had an amazing night here and would highly recommend it.

Totally unexpected restaurant in a small corsican village! The restaurant is built into the cliff side, with wonderful views of the mountains, sea and the 'black beach'. Beautiful view at sunset. The staff was very friendly, speaking very good english and more than willing to review the french only menu in english. Great bar area too. The food and service were excellent. A DJ provided great 'mood' music that fit perfectly to the evening. One table was celebrating a birthday which the whole restaurant participated in by singing happy birthday and wearing funny hats given out by one of the waiters.

Incredible restaurant crowning the top of the Nonza cliff. You have the view over the black beach, go for the sunset, a very romantic place. I like that they promote the local products and wineries first. You can go casual chic or even beach chic, the place is elegant by its location, sound, service and the chef is excellent. (girls with very high hills, mind the steps)

We had a great evening at the Sassa. Views are spectacular, seafood was great, meat was ok. Friendly, fast service. This place has moved way beyond the small cosy hang-out. It is now a professionally hosted restaurant with an urban flair. Double-check your bill after dinner.

This is a great spot. We drove up from Bastia on a Sunday for lunch. The food was terrific: steak tartare, fish of the day, two half litres of beer and coffee for 72 euros. Excellent service, fantastic view, water misters to keep you cool. Yes, we liked this spot.
