La Poutriere - Reservar uma mesa

Lovely welcome from the owner who allowed us to eat at this spacious, airy restaurant with our dog at our feet. The owner speaks very little english and the menu has no translation so either rely on your schoolboy/girl french or take a phrase book!...We did the former knowing that forestière would probably contain mushrooms and something we know had three meats (living on the edge eh as long as it wasn't andouillette. We had a bottle of rose which was very pleasant. Our food arrived promptly and looked delicious. Simple ingredients, simply cooked. The forestière was a chicken breast in a creamy mushroom sauce and the three meats was a terrine of ham, chicken and pork in jelly it was very, very good! Both plates came with french fries (why can't we get them like this at home and a small salad. For dessert we ordered the house special which was a creamy, cheese cakey offering with fresh berries I'm not a pudding person but it was excellent. We went early Friday evening and by the time we left it was getting rather busy. Highly recommended

Premiere visite la veille du 15 août car c'etait le seul endroit ouvert ce soir là sur St.Pol sur Ternoise.D'abord un peu sceptique face aux critiques laissées sur le site mais au final agréablement surpris. Peut-être des gens jaloux!Tout était très bon, qualité et service efficace au rendez-vous. Du fait, deuxieme visite ce jour dans ce petit restaurant St.Polois et toujours aussi satisfait...Je conseille de réserver à l'avance.

We ate here twice with friends. Once having an excellent set lunch the chicken was cooked perfectly and the salad very tasty. The evening meal was also very good and the service provided by the owner was excellent. We wiil be back

Très bon rapport qualité/prix.Avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant tant par la cuisine que par la gentillesse du patron. nous y reviendrons

Restaurant sombre, accueil qui laisse à désiré et tarif excessif pour les plats proposé, déçu je n'y retournerai plus
