Nice setting by the lake, but sadly food was average, and the sequence we experienced included: being told by a waitress that they were fully booked finding out they did actually have a table for 2 unpleasant reaction from the waiter when we couldn't explain with our minimal French that we wanted sparkling water rather than still waiting time for food was 45min. 1 hour+ altogether just for eating mains. my husband's steak was more cooked than he asked for and the salad that came with it was minimal and wilted. upon paying, we realized they'd added extra 10 euros to the bill. We pointed it it out and they immediately fixed it but without any explanation. We certainly won't be going back.

Living in Shanghai and travelling around the world I am used to many different styles in hotel or restaurants. Saturday night in Mennecy, 35 km away from Paris I ended up spending less than a hundred euros for 2: cocktail, apetizer, main course and dessert, huge portions, fast service without rushing, waiters are efficient, polite, the restaurant was almost full, kitchen very busy and still managed to serve dishes fast, bring the bill quickly, and still smile with a gentle comment . To me it is a good place to have a nice and relaxing dinner, with your husband or your family. It is my second visit and I will come back...

Went to this restaurant for lunch. The waiter was very nice, the food was very good, service very good. The mushrooms were some of the best I've had. The duck was also very good. The dessert was not as good, I've had better at many other places. For the price, there are other places I would choose but we did have a nice time. Atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, but the fireplace was not on during lunch. Setting is nice on the river, with swans.

It's very pretty! A kind of small lake, accompanied by its small animals. A beautiful terrace with a relaxing atmosphere. The dishes are really good. We will come back together because with the children the small lake is particularly dangerous because no protection.

While a notch above what you would consider mid-range, this restaurant is still very reasonably priced for the high quality of food it delivers. Great wine selection. Lovely surroundings and ambiance.
