La Maruca - Reservar uma mesa

Many suggested to try out this place due to the good food and environment but, out of all restaurants I’ve tried, it was by far the worst. Located right in the centre of Salamanca with a beautiful and big location, however not the food or the service reach high standards. We got there pretty early so had to wait a bit for the kitchen to open, and we were completely fine with it, until the couple that sat next to us (and arrived way after we did got their food before. Our waiter was terrible: not friendly at all, didn’t even look at you in the face when talking and just didn’t care. The food was late, wrong, cold since it took them a while to serve it to us, and overall didn’t live up to the standards. The 3 reception girls at the entrance barely said hi, bye or thanks. Avoid this place :

This was one of the best restaurant experiences in a long time. The food was really outstanding. Each plate better than the last. The neighborhood is one of the best of Madrid. Last but not least the servers had the best attitude. Please leave space for the tarta de queso. You will thank me
