In view of the favourable ratings, I wonder if I and my friend live in a parallel world? Best thing I can say about this restaurant, is the small size of the servings. In spite of this, we did not finish our plates. An example, what was supposed to be a kind of Greek salad, consisted mainly of chickpeas, with a few pieces of distinctly tired feta cheese. The raw fish, did not smell, but it was far from fresh. The best thing was a bottle of lukewarm Heineken. The waiter was kind that clearly very unexperienced.
This restaurant was great from start to finish. We had tried to eat here a few months ago but it was full. Having eaten there now we can see why. Absolutely great choice of food and the lady serving us was extremely attentive and helpful. The tapas dishes were so tasty and fresh. We had 6 dishes accompanied by some really nice local beers and wine. We finished with a cheeseboard and a cafe gourmand. Everything was brilliant and we can see why they are right up there on Tripadvisor. We will definitely return.
Nothing but praise for this place the food was just superb we had a lovely mix of vegetarian and fish dishes the Pan Tomates in particular was a star The service is second to none ,I didn’t get his name but every table was greeted and treated like a long lost friend Now to the deserts we had the Tarte de Fruit and Rum BaBa The tarte was a deconstructed approach but just sublime The Rum BaBa just wow and don’t drive afterwards We will be back
Saturday evening and we phoned to reserve dinner for 2. We sat in the window seat and were not disappointed. Food menu was displayed on chalk boards on the wall and we were talked through the menu by the waiter. Fantastic service from the staff and he was very friendly and gave good recommendations. Food was good quality and servings were well priced and sized. Loved the experience and would thoroughly recommend here.
