La Gambita - Reservar uma mesa

Arrived in the town on our first night and to escape the rain went here for dinner. Had a wonderful starter of king prawns cooked in garlic and chilli and another of calamari. Main both ordered steak with pepper sauce. Did request one to be very well done and one medium. Both came out medium rare. Pepper sauce just needed some flavour, was a cream sauce with a couple of peppercorns. Perhaps though this is the Spanish way. Did not have a dessert. Service really friendly but the waiter that served us could not speak a word of English so could not explain dishes to us. Scored this on the overall experience which was very good.

I’ve just enjoyed a wonderful meal at La gambita , the food was 1st class and freshly prepared and served by a very intentive, friendly waiter called Zacarias . I highly recommend this title gem and looking forward to my next visit later this week

Extremely friendly staff, they enjoyed explaining the menu. Very attentive, happy, funny and welcoming. The menu has a good variety and everything tasted excellent. So good I ate there everyday as I found nowhere better and the prices were good.

I love this place. Pure spanish atmosphere with friendly staff. There is a playground nearby which makes it a perfect place for families. The seafood is good, especially the Dorada.

Poor quality, over cooked pasta, greasy and flavourless, not recommended. Tourist trap. Service was OK
