La Fratelli - Reservar uma mesa

I have eaten in so many Italian restaurants, my best friend is Italian and recently came with me to this place too. I have been here about 7-8 times over the past three years and every time they have gotten better and better. Every so often there will be a swing and a miss, I wouldn 't recommend the mushrooms on toast. But everything else, from the pizza to the moussaka to the sides, and starters, are just so homely, clearly made with love and made fresh. The staff are super friendly, sometimes a bit much, but it only makes you feel welcome. The service can be a tad slow on occasion, but then the environment is calm and relaxing and I can 't help but feel at ease here. The Italian restaurant across the road risoranto sorento have positive things to say about this place too and I am happy to go back. If you are happy to enjoy great portions, homely food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere, I recommend this place. I 'm going again tonight for my dad 's birthday :

Never eat here Starter was bread, olives and vinegar and oil, but the bread was basically just a crust as there were so many holes and the oil and vinegar already mixed and it was much too sour for us. I wanted the lasagna for main, but he said he had no (maybe it is frozen) so he recommended the spaghetti bolognese, but and my friend had the penne-both dishes were totally bland! No salt available, but there was a pepper mill, but it didn't work! We were offered chili oil, but no oil came out as all chili seeds blocked it coming! Then the bill came and he tried to charge us £5.49 for every glass of wine...it was just because I checked the price on the menu and questioned him that he adjusted the bill of Awful food and experience and did not return, and since then I found out that a group of workmates went to lunch the next day... their website shows that they were opened from 12 but it was closed. Don't go here unless you want to be extremely disappointed

This place offers superb service as well as delicious food. My favourite spot around town. The food and drinks served fast and the prices are inexpensive. I recommend this place.
