La Flourdiliz - Reservar uma mesa

I would have to start this review by saying that this restaurant is not in the smartest part of town; the surroundings are large residential blocks on an unimpressive road. BUT DON 'T LET THAT PUT YOU OFF! THE FOOD IS SUPERB! We had an excellent evening meal there from the very wide range of savoury and sweet crepes, served by a friendly and helpful staff. There is a wide range of drinks, but make sure you try the great Breton cider. While there is no scenic view, the outside brasserie style seating area gives an opportunity for people watching. Perhaps not a restaurant for a romantic evening in the sunset but for a delicious lighter evening meal it cannot be faulted. Would we go again? Yes, certainly!

We wandered past this establishment on a random walk on the ring road outside of L'Isle. It is by no means far away, it is just that we were not looking for it, it just happened by when we were a mite peckish. The owner was fantastic, spoke no English but was happy to give the translation moment a go. Bought us a menu showing traditional Breton buckwheat galettes, a beer for hubby and humoured me with two bottles of cider when he wasn't sure if I wanted sweet or dry. The location was ordinary, a simple restaurant with a few tables out front...but the service and the food were superb...and the place was well attended. We are quite glad we stumbled upon La Flourdiliz.

We were shopping at Entrée des Artistes and asked the owner for a recommendation for lunch. He suggested La Flourdiliz. This was one of our best meals in France! The crepes were fantastic!!! The dessert crepes were flambéed and worth every calorie. Don't miss this restaurant and the fabulous owner!

Nice ambiance (outside) but so so crapes, I mean we ate them but they were nothing to write home about. Had jamon fromage e tomato basil. Cheap wine and beer. Solid 3.5 stars. The waitress was sweet and service was good.

Home and irreproachable cuisine!! We spent a pleasant time and our 7 little children didn't scare all this family that works in good mood and with a smile! We'll be back!
