I was sat in a café opposite La Farigole having a cold beer towards the end of a hard day on a bike and was attracted to the colourful pavement décor and from a distance the food being served. I was not disappointed. They offer a 'sportive' meal (a smaller choice menu),for cyclists and at 13 euros it seemed good value. I opted for the penne pasta bolognese, which was just the right size and the ragu sauce especially was delicious! This came with a glass of wine and afterwards I had an ice cold strawberry sorbet which was a gorgeous perfect antidote for the hot weather. The service was excellent and friendly and I even came back the next day and had a pizza which again was a good size and very tasty. A great and friendly place to eat- just a shame that while I was there not many others gave it a try.
