La Collina - Reservar uma mesa

We loved it so much that we would return tonight. The staff is very friendly and tried to translate very hard for us. There is even a menu written in English. The food was very delicious and there is a lot of choice for vegetarians. The wine is served in a literary carafe and is very cheap but very smooth. When I asked for a Limoncello to finish, they gave us a free one, although it wasn't even on the menu! Definitely recommended for vegetarians.

We went to La Collina twice. The waiter recognized us on the second evening (although the place was full) and offered us the same table. The pizza on the first evening was a welcome change in a week of typical German foods; the pasta on the second evening was huge (a bit more spicy would have been welcome). There are not many Italian restaurants in Wernigerode, so you can choose these, do not hesitate: you will not be disappointed.

Nice Italian restaurant food was ok. Pizza's a little too thick for me. Some strange pasta and German merger courts. They do not pour the wine to the table, so only their word can take you what you have requested. Drinking took a while to get there. One of the staff was friendly, but there was a creepy ignorance that should not be in front of the house.

We had dinner twice and were very happy. Not the best Italian food we ate, but very good. Great portions and reasonable prices. The service was quick and friendly. The owner was a real treasure, he gave us a free after dinner Italian liqueur in the first night.

Worst pizza in years. Staff not interested at all. Save yourself this disappointing place. Don't go here.
