La Chanterelle Bar Restaurant

We were very much looking forward to sampling the amazing BBQ food everyone had been raving about. Unfortunately we didn't even manage to get a drink! Our group arrived in stages, the first 3 of 12 managed to get a drink. The remainder of us arrived and an order was taken for 5 people. We tried to go to the bar to order, but no one was there and tried again to place order, we were even told they would come back to take our order.. they didn't, so we left and went down the slope to the small cafe by the chair lift where we managed to get a beer and some food. It was a shame as we were all looking forward to a meal at La Chanterelle and were likely to spend quite a bit on the food and drink. What I did see of the food looked good. Probably best to visit when not busy as they clearly can not cope with the volume.

This is a great place for lunch (and they also have accomodation). It is on the less busy side of Les Gets so not always as crowded as other places. It deserves to be really busy as the food is wholesome and hearty and really good quality. Service is delightful. Robin and Dan were helpful and entertaining and Robin even did an Elvis request on his guitar. We were all pleased with our lunches. Half chickens are cooked in the onsite wood oven and are delicious as was everything we had. Get there if you can.

This is a fantastic little restaurant tucked away at the back of Mont Chery, Jaysons food is just amazing, slow cooked rib of beef and slow cooked lamb kebab are two of the meals that I've enjoyed there, and the service provided by Suzy and Kim is very warm and genuine.If you're ever in the area and they are having one of their infamous music evenings, I highly recommend booking a table.Oh yeah, and vanilla rum.....

It was just delicious! Laid back atmosphere combined with a team that obviously know what they are doing. Good food, friendly, amazing terasse. Favorite place of the Portes du Soleil by far!

Best place to ski to for lunch, apres music and a great atmosphere. Get the free taxi and skidoo ride for dinner and entertainment in the evening - a really memorable night!
