La Cava Mexican Cuisine

The food at La Cava is authentic, original, beyond fresh and packed with incredible, creative flair and flavor. I travel around the world and grew up on home cooked Mexican food. As a rule, I get to eat at some pretty fine establishments, and though I’m not a picky eater, I am extremely descerning about quality and ambience when I select and/or recommend a restaurant. La Cava will always be my favorite for fish and truly haute (gourmet) mexican specialties. Its so good, I plan to fly to PA from Colorado for my birthday this year. All menu items are great, but the specials and seafood are exceptional. Also, the crepas con cajeta are to die for!!! I was strictly vegetarian before I tried Carlos’ decadent snapper with chile garlic sauce (deboned table side). He has prepared some amazing vegetarian dishes for me as well. He draws a lovely community of foodies and friends to add to the experience
