After a long pleasant summer stroll along the river Thielle we wanted to refresh ourselves with some sorbet ice-cream. On arrival we sat on a nice table with a lovely view to the river Thielle and waited for 20 minutes for a waitress to arrive. On the entire terrace only 3 other tables where occupied and 3 waiters were standing around and none of them bothered to bring the dessert menu. After 20 minutes we asked if their new concept was self service and then we received the one page dessert menu with horrendous price tags for simple ice cream dishes. As it took us only a couple of minutes to diced which ice cream to choose from, a group of 4 gentlemen arrived at another table an the waitress again did not bother to take our order but instantly attended the table of the four gentlemen. This is why we chose to ignore this restaurant and left. We will only set foot in this restaurant again, once the owner will have changed again. Since the service is that terrible and the price tags exorbitant, it will not take long to loose customers at a speedy rate and to fold down once again this business. Really sad, as the restaurant is set in a nice place with a nice view.
Searched, found. The prices seem quite high at first, but after the first bite... Totally great. Price/performance can only be confirmed. Unfortunately no one speaks German, but with a little bit of English and all, everything worked out great. The staff was also very approachable, despite the language barrier. The ambience itself is great and the harbor is nearby. Therefore full points. Gladly again.
