La Cantina - Reservar uma mesa

La Cantina is the rural restaurant located in the Can Seferino hotel, a rural hotel in the province of Girona, in Catalonia. I stayed in the hotel and I go to the restaurant to breakfast and lunch. I ate to breakfast a selection of cured sausages and a red wine called Oriol dels Aspres , which were excellent. Also I ate a green salad and lamb chops with chips, which are only good. The best place to go to breakfast or lunch (it is not possible ot go to dinner, because it is closed at night), if you stay in the rural house. Retour à la Cantina après 3 années d'absence cause Covid. Nous avons été déçus par le changement de cadre.. Ce n'est plus le lieu accueillant sous le grand châtaignier pour les randonneurs ou réunion familiale mais un restaurant classique. Pas de menus, seulement à la carte. Nous avons pris une assiette de charcuterie catalane et grosse déception au vu du prix, pas de jambon, ni de Chorizo, que du boudin et du saucisson Nous n'y retournerons pas . À l'avenir, étant randonneurs, nous prendrons notre picnic et profiterons de ce beau paysage face au château de Resquesens.

It is no longer outside, under beautiful old trees. A new building has been built close by. The atmosphere has changed, now one very big room with tables and chairs, not very friendly, what a shame!

La Cantina, Requessens Restaurant closed, extremely small shop a cupboard) with basic food supplies open. Clean, spacious hostal with kitchen open €15)
