La Cacola - Reservar uma mesa

Very pretty restaurant with entrances in the square or overlooking the river. La Cacola has personable staff (one of who spoke very good English), good food and value for money. Of my 7 family members, I am the hardest to feed, being vegetarian. I didn't fancy eggs (quiche was the vegetarian option of the day), so they made me up a tasting plate of basically everything they had in the kitchen that didn't have meat in it. It was an eclectic plate but very tasty indeed. The meat eaters cleaned their plates and loved their food choices. The fresh berries in a sort of custard cream was the best desert by popular vote - we tried all of them - but the tart lemon meringue pie was a close second.This is a very popular place, so I highly recommend making reservations as we were unable to be seated when we went back a second time.

The four of us went here this evening, with my children aged 15 and 13. We had a round table on the terrace on a lovely summer evening. Despite my below par French, one of the staff spoke enough English to ensure this wasn't a problem. Me and my son went for the fillet steak with a drizzle of foie gras sauce, it was cooked as we asked, medium and tasted superb. The other two dishes were Monk fish or Lotte. Again cooked really well and tasted good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere unbeatable, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant we came across by chance.whenever we visit france we use the gudesPetit Fute.but no mention of any restaurants in this town..so we followed our nose and found this gem of a restauurant and sat outside on terrace.we had set priced menu which was remarkable value for money.and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the food.

The food was good. The staff were disorganised but attempted to be helpful. The manager/owner/front desk was an absolute idiot with no interpersonal skills, zero customer servicing skills, rude, flustered and didn't deserve our money. He spoilt a good night

Closed in winter... sorry we miss it because it had a Very nice location and good food. The Service is very "cool" and correct. Also a very good relation price/quality Just go there
