La Baraque A Huitres

A very basic, authentic, rustic, beach side oyster shack with superb oysters, shrimp and white wine all at an unbelievable bargain! The staff mother/daughter team) are friendly and the menu is simple-4 sizes of oysters, one choice of white wine and a few types of shrimp. Be prepared, when it rains here it really pours but the outdoor only seating has plenty of large umbrellas. Great view and fun to watch the fisherman scurry in and out from their boats....will be back for sure!!!

When we have not enough oyster in the other place, we choose here for more. Not easy to find the place, we followed google and the restaurant is behind their oyster farm. We had the most fresh and great n2 oysters.

Found this little gem on a day trip to Cap-Ferret. All the seafood, especially the oysters were so fresh and so reasonably priced. Service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

You must visit this for oysters, crevettes and whelks while in Lege Cap Ferret. The most delicious oysters I have eaten yet!
