La Baita - Reservar uma mesa

We dined here 2 times during our 6 night stay in Garmisch Partenkirchen. We really enjoyed this restaurant, lovely atmosphere, great service, friendly multilingual staff, amazing food and excellent quality. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. On the first night we both ordered pizza and it was really delicious and finished with a tiramisu which was divine. The other 2 nights we tried the pasta dishes - spaghetti with scampi and tortellini with ham and spinach, both were excellent. Found the attitude of the staff much more friendly compared to other typical german restaurants we tried. Also, once we were finished our main meal they did not rush us to free up the table which we experienced in other restaurants in the area. I would make a reservation in advance if you want to sit in the terrace - the busiest time was from 7-8:30pm. On both occasions we made a reservation in advance and we were happy we did as some people who arrived had to wait quite a while for a table outside. My only negative is that I wished we had discovered this restaurant earlier during our trip to Garmisch Partenkirchen. Highly recommend La Baita!!

Authentic Italian taste with really big portions! Both Pizza and Carbonara is recommended. Only drawback is charging 3 € for a glass of water to a three year old. All in all a very good experience.

This place is great. The stuff is super friendly and speak English. The food was tasty. Highly recommended.

Great pizzas and accommodating service. Always a pleasant evening. We visit every time we are in Garmisch.
