I came across this restaurant when looking for authentic Caribbean and African cuisine and this restaurant delivered! I ordered their jerk chicken and oxtails and my husband ordered the curry chicken. The proportions are great and we had food for two days! The spice on the jerk chicken was phenomenal and it has been a while since I had jerk chicken with that spice! Definitely a restaurant to try and fall in love with! I took a bite of the rice and peas and went to my aunties kitchen! It was THAT good. (You can tell frm the half eaten plate in my picture) I got the jerk chicken meal and my husband got that curry chicken. My jerk chicken was a quarter piece of chicken- leg and thigh. Smothered in jerk seasoning. It came w/ rice and peas, Mac and cheese, and plantains. I ordered from here through Uber eats. It was my first time ever trying this place out. I was craving an oxtails platter. This food was AMAZINGLY GREAT! Very nice portions, very fresh, plantains came with the platter. A lot of places you have to add as a side. A young man called to let me know the canned soda I wanted they didn?t have. I appreciated the courtesy! The Mac and cheese was so freaking delicious! I will definitely order again.
So today was my first time ordering from here and it was so good! Perfectly seasoned. I called to make some accommodations and they definitely accommodated me. I ordered the Mac and Cheese it was good but I've had better, but the Cabbage...whew! So good! Spinach stew was delicious. I asked for extra spicy and I got it. Everything was piping hot. I will definitely be ordering from here again. ???? it's so hard to find GOOD African food.
