Krokante

Staying in San Juan near the beach and very limited places to eat, found this place on Tripadvisor. We went for the bbq for 2 wow! Don’t order chips as a side thinking you will need them, there was literally a plate of well seasoned meat cooked perfectly. Great value 2 starters, main, a desert and two drinks all for €36. Would highly recommend. The staff make the place too, being english standing out like a sore thumb in the area the staff were so warm and welcoming. Well worth a visit if if you are in the area.

My wife picked this local restaurant to try rather than heading further into the city for dinner. What a good choice she made... the food was excellent, particularly the steak and calamari options and some lovely local sangria. Prices for the meal were very reasonable and the staff were lovely and friendly. A definite culinary place to experience when visiting Alicante!!

Impressive steaks cooked as requested for a group of 12. The wine was local, fairly priced and good. The fish dishes were less impressive so go for the steaks. For a local restaurant they did great in handle great an international group of 12 non Spanish speaking people.

Decided to waik away from sea and ate in this busy restaurant. Very popular with locals and families so advise booking to save being disappointed as full. Worth a visit

Great steaks , lovely decor and efficient staff . Reasonable prices too , really enjoyed it here. Busy , so you would need to book in high season.
